A creamy and delicious rice pudding with the added sweetness of white chocolate. It's a perfect dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth.
- 1.5 liters of milk
- 200 grams of rice
- 2 cups of water
- 250 grams of sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 orange
- 1 lemon
- 75 grams of white chocolate
- ground cinnamon
Soak the rice in two cups of water in a saucepan for 15 minutes.
While the rice is soaking, peel the orange and lemon, avoiding the white pith. Cut a 3 cm piece of peel from each fruit.
Add the milk to the saucepan along with the cinnamon stick and citrus peels. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring frequently with a wooden spoon.
After 20 minutes, remove the citrus peels and cinnamon stick. Add the sugar and mix well. Continue cooking on very low heat for another 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat, add the chopped white chocolate, let it melt, and stir until smooth.
Pour the rice pudding into individual bowls and let it cool. Cover the bowls with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
