A delicious recipe for a squid sandwich with homemade garlic mayonnaise. Crispy fried squid rings are served on toasted cereal buns with a generous spread of garlic mayonnaise. Perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.
- 8 cereal buns
- 8 medium squids
- 8 tablespoons of homemade garlic mayonnaise
- 50 grams of flour
- 100 grams of chickpea flour
- oil
- salt
Coat the squids with flour
In a large bowl, mix both types of flour. Clean and wash the squids, separate the tentacles and slice the bodies into rings. Season them and coat them in the flour mixture.
Fry the squids
Remove excess flour and fry the squids in batches in plenty of hot oil until lightly golden.
Toast the buns
Drain the squids and place them on kitchen paper to absorb excess oil. Cut the buns in half and lightly toast them in a toaster or oven.
Spread with garlic mayonnaise
Spread both halves of the buns with the garlic mayonnaise and distribute the squids on top. Close the sandwiches and serve them hot, accompanied by a salad.
