            - 100 grams of small shell pasta
 - 250 grams of cooked pinto beans
 - 650 milliliters of vegetable broth
 - 2 carrots
 - 1 celery stalk
 - 1 turnip
 - 75 grams of diced serrano ham
 - 1 sprig of thyme
 - olive oil
 - black pepper
 - salt

Step 1: Peel and wash the carrots and turnip. Clean the celery. Cut these 3 vegetables into small cubes and cook them in the broth for 5 minutes. After this time, add the washed thyme and pasta, and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
Step 2: Add the rinsed and drained beans, season with salt and pepper, and let everything simmer together for another 2 minutes.
Step 3: Lightly saut the diced ham in a non-stick pan with a few drops of olive oil. Add it to the soup and serve it hot.
Step 4: The trick: If you want to thicken the stew, blend some beans with a few tablespoons of hot broth.
