A delicious and easy recipe for cheese bonbon skewers with a crunchy pistachio coating. Perfect for parties or as a gourmet appetizer.
- 350 grams of cream cheese
- 150 grams of gouda cheese
- 150 grams of pistachios
1. Mix the cheeses: Crumble the gouda cheese and mix it with the cream cheese until you get a homogeneous mixture. Let it rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour to firm up.
2. Peel and chop the pistachios: Peel the pistachios and chop them using a food processor. Take half of the cheese mixture out of the refrigerator. With damp hands, take small portions and shape them into round balls, slightly smaller than a walnut.
3. Chill in the refrigerator: Place the cheese balls on a tray lined with parchment paper and chill them in the refrigerator. Repeat the process with the remaining cheese mixture.
4. Coat the cheese balls: Coat the cheese balls with the chopped pistachios. Skewer the bonbons with toothpicks and serve immediately.
