A classic Waldorf Salad recipe with fresh apples, lettuce, celery, raisins, walnuts, and a creamy yogurt dressing.
- 1 royal gala or fuji apple
- 1 granny smith apple
- 120 grams of lettuce
- 3 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 30 grams of raisins
- 100 grams of white celery
- 60 grams of walnuts
- 30 grams of dried cranberries
- for the dressing
- 200 grams of yogurt
- pepper
- lemon
- 4 sprigs of chives
- salt
1. Cut the apples
Wash and core the apples, cut them into dice and sprinkle with lemon juice. Chop the lettuce. Clean the celery stalks, removing the strings with a peeler, wash them and cut them into thin slices.
2. Prepare the dressing
To prepare the dressing, whisk together the yogurt, lemon juice, pepper, and salt. Add the washed and chopped chives, and stir.
3. Add the nuts
Mix the lettuce, apples, celery, raisins, cranberries, and toasted and chopped walnuts. Divide the salad into four bowls or deep plates, drizzle with the dressing, and serve immediately.
