New York Cheesecake

A classic American cheesecake, creamy and delicious, topped with mixed berries and strawberry or raspberry jam.



Ingredients

  • 200 grams digestive biscuits
  • 120 grams butter
  • 450 grams cream cheese
  • 170 grams sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 100 grams blackberries
  • 50 grams blueberries
  • 100 grams raspberries
  • strawberry or raspberry jam
Steps

Preheat the oven to 180C. Line the base of a 18-20 cm mold with parchment paper. Melt the butter and mix it with the crushed biscuits.


Place the mixture into the mold, spreading it evenly and pressing it firmly using the back of a spoon or your fingertips. Chill in the fridge for 20-30 minutes.


Beat the cream cheese with the sugar until creamy. Add the eggs one by one, mixing carefully. Finally, incorporate the vanilla extract.


Pour the mixture into the mold and bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes.


Allow the cheesecake to cool before removing it from the mold. Finish by decorating it with the jam and the mixed berries.
