A refreshing salad made with brown rice, red beans, and canned tuna
Ingredients
- 350 grams of brown rice
- 2 lettuce hearts
- 1 red onion
- 250 grams of cooked red beans
- 150 grams of canned tuna in olive oil
- chives
- black pepper
- salt
Boil the rice: Cook the rice in salted water according to the instructions on the package. Drain and let it cool.
Cut the lettuce and onion: Clean the lettuce hearts, wash them, drain them, and finely julienne them. Peel the onion and slice it. Drain the beans and rinse them well.
Mix the ingredients: Mix the rice with the red beans and lettuce, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the finely shredded tuna with the oil to the mixture.
Chop the chives and serve: Wash the chives and chop them. Divide the salad among plates and serve immediately, sprinkled with chives.
