A refreshing and healthy salad made with white beans, fresh tuna, and a flavorful basil vinaigrette.
- 200 grams of cooked white beans
- red bell pepper
- 200 grams of fresh tuna steak
- 1 red onion
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of sherry vinegar
- salt
- pepper
- 6 basil leaves
- arugula leaves
1. Sear the fish
Rinse and pat dry the tuna. Heat a few drops of oil in a non-stick pan, add the fish and sear it evenly. Season with salt and pepper, let it cool and slice it.
2. Prepare the vegetables
Rinse the white beans and drain them. Wash the bell pepper, remove the seeds and dice it. Peel the onion and cut it into thin slices.
3. Assemble the salad
Place the beans in a salad bowl along with the bell pepper and onion. Add the tuna and arugula.
4. Make the vinaigrette
For the vinaigrette, mix in a bowl the remaining oil with the vinegar, a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir in the washed and chopped basil leaves. Dress the salad with this sauce and serve immediately.
